Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at taketheleadhouston.com and the services offered by Take The Lead Houston ("we," "us," "our"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the site, and at least 18 to create a member account or attend in-person meetings without a guardian.

Member accounts

  • You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
  • Provide accurate information when you sign up or RSVP.
  • One account per person. Don't share your login with others.

Acceptable use

When using the site or attending our meetings, you agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any member or guest.
  • Use the site to spam, scrape data, or distribute malware.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren't yours.
  • Misrepresent who you are or who you represent.
  • Solicit members for unrelated commercial purposes without permission.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.

In-person meetings

Meetings take place at third-party venues. You are responsible for your own conduct and safety while attending. We are not responsible for the policies, pricing, or service of meeting venues.

Content you submit

You retain ownership of anything you submit through the contact form, profile, or meeting participation. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use that content to operate and improve our services.

Our content

The Take The Lead Houston name, logo, written content, and design are owned by us. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission, except as allowed by fair use.

No warranty

The site and our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every possible threat.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Take The Lead Houston is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or attendance at our meetings.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
